Альпина Проза - Полка

Great Works of Russian Literature is a joint series by Alpina.Prose and the online literary project Polka. The series brings together some of the most important works of Russian literature — books that form the literary canon as it is seen from the perspective of the 21st century. The works were selected by respected scholars, teachers, writers, literary critics, and experts. Each has made a significant contribution to the development of modern literature and the Russian language. The series offers readers an opportunity to trace the evolution of Russian literature through the centuries — from The Tale of Igor’s Campaign to works by contemporary authors.
