Return and Refund Policy
At Babel Books Toronto, all book sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to change of mind, accidental purchases, or because an item is no longer wanted.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing defect, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item and, where applicable, the shipping packaging.
After reviewing your request, we will offer a replacement where available. If a replacement is not available, we will issue a refund for the affected item to the original payment method.
If we require a damaged, defective, or incorrect item to be returned, Babel Books Toronto will provide return instructions and cover the reasonable return shipping cost.
Please do not return any item without contacting us first.
Order cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order, provided that the order has not already been processed or shipped.
After this period, orders cannot be cancelled.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. After we process the refund, your bank or credit card provider may require additional time for the refund to appear on your account.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Canadian or provincial consumer protection laws.
